After the death of my beloved Linda and the agreement that she would inspire me, if possible, something changed in the way I worked, the subjects I chose to work from, etc. So you could say that there is a pre-2001 and an after-2001 period.

Before 2001 I did airbrush paintings and calligraphy hundreds of certificates for TNO for large companies worldwide, including many in the Ukraine that had to comply with EU regulations. I also made greeting cards for Noordhuis Papier publishers in Meppel. And besides that, sometimes paintings for other people and for ourselves. All in all, I did not feel very successful.

After Linda’s death this changed, and moreover I learned a new technique, such as working with precious metals. And I wasn’t satisfied with airbrushing on board alone. I started creating objects from all kinds of materials, such as wood and plaster, and airbrushing parts of them.
